Fearless Money

Wow, I just sold a keyboard on eBay for literally twice what I was expecting, and five times what I paid for it five years ago. I’m actually stunned. This was my first ever sale on eBay, and now I’m thinking it is pretty likely I’ll try that again.

It was a very fancy keyboard, of course. I paid $329 for the Fingerworks Touchstream ST Dvorak layout keyboard years ago when I was having a lot of trouble with wrist pain and finger numbness. (It worked, and I’m all better now, thanks.) Since then, the company that made them has gone out of business, and they’ve become almost impossible to acquire.

Still, I wasn’t expecting to sell it for $1580 . Sheesh.

Now, what other stuff do I have sitting around in the garage which I haven’t used for years? Hmm…
