Fearless Money

On the last day of the second week of the Prosperity Game. I’m almost halfway done, and I definitely feeling stretched. I’m being forced to think bigger about money than I ever have before.

Day 13 - $20,000

Depositing $20,000 into the First Dream Bank, I think I’ll finish out my contractor’s trifecta and have him finish the inside of the barn, which we are now converting to a guest-house.

I’d have him insulate it and sheathe the inside of the walls. Then, he’d run lights and install baseboard heat. Finally, I’d have him build a small eat-in kitchen in the newly renovated studio/guest house.

I think that would leave enough money to furnish it with nice stuff. The rest of the money would be used to finish off paying the next-to-inevitable cost overruns from previous contractor jobs I bought during the game.
