Prosperity Game – Day 9

I’m breaking the rules with today’s Prosperity Game!

I know I said I wouldn’t think about debt in the game, only things that would "make my heart sing." But … it would make my heart sing to pay off the rest of my consumer debt.

Day 9, $12,000

Depositing $12,000 into the First Dream Bank, I quickly spend it like so:

• $5800 – Pay off remaining credit card debt, currently residing on the American Express card.
• $3800 – Pay off the Saturn car loan.
• $2400 – Pay off the Toyota car loan.

Having those loans paid off would make me feel lighter than air. The great news is that even in the worst-case, these are getting paid off within the year in any case.
