		<description>I agree.  I don&#039;t think anyone will ever buy the last drop of oil because by that time it will be so expensive we&#039;ll have switched to a new source...and then actually it&#039;ll be inexpensive or an antique oddity or something.  The capitalist in me is not worried about energy...I&#039;m worried about policy makers who mess with the price system.   The environmentalist in me thinks that high oil prices is the best thing to happen to the environment.  Thanks for the post!</description>

		<description>There is a real issue that we simply aren&#039;t going to find anything better than oil. Unless you can pull out some pixie dust, we&#039;re going to have worse energy sources. Now, obviously, there are options (fission and, eventually, fusion are high on my list), but it&#039;s going to take some impressive innovation to make it work. Now, I&#039;m sure we will see that innovation, the question is when in comparison to when we start running into problems with oil.

If we were building fission plants en masse right now, I would agree with your assessment of the situation. As it is, I see myopia that will lead to a somewhat rough transition.</description>
