Yay, my Valentine’s gift was a success! I couldn’t share it here before of course, because my sweet wife actually reads the site. I got her one of the shirts at the left. It is kind of a simple, yet unique idea, to put both peoples’ names in a shared heart, like we used to all do back in middle school.

Awww!

That’s the reaction I got. “Awwww!” in a good way, followed by a smile, a hug and a kiss. That’s exactly what I wanted. Plus, the shirt came in a nice gift bag, which made presentation even nicer and easier.

The shirt came from Personalization Mall, which is an “all-grown-up” internet side business. I’d heard an interview with the owner on Webmaster Radio, and really thought the guy sounded like he had a good thing going. He’s got over 60 employees by now, so I besides personally being attracted to his entrepreneurial style, he must have a decent product. With that reasoning, I signed up as one of his affiliates. As I usually do in a new affiliate relationship, I purchased one of his products as a test.

I bought it early enough ahead of time that if it had been inferior, I could’ve found another gift for my love. But luckily, I ended up with just the right thing. It came in three days, and was exactly what I ordered. Yay!

Valentine’s day is past, but I’m sure I’ll be buying from them again. The Shared Heart Black Fitted Tee is only one of over 3000 things that fellow will customize.
