As I expected, I’ve been laid-off from my current job. Feh.
About 50 out of 150 of us were let go, including 90% of engineering, my boss and my boss’s boss. The ones who weren’t let go were the most upset, I think. I made a card for the people who remain, saying “I’m sorry you weren’t fired”, which I handed out to the people I was sure would be amused. I’m employed through all of April, so I should have no problem finding a new gig. Still, no fun at all.
